Vegan Meetup = Vegan Socializing Group! The original/oldest veg group on Meetup.com in Vancouver, since 2002 :D
This group gives great opportunities for vegan and vegetarian adults to socialize with other veg mates, make friends and have fun! Those who are interested in the veg lifestyle or food are also welcome as long as they are veg-friendly and respectful.
At our dining events, we enjoy tasty vegan food at a reasonable price! (The main purpose isn't judging/criticizing restaurants nor getting the biggest bargain in town, though.) Let's veg out and have fun!! :)

Som Tum (Green Papaya Salad) - Shredded green papaya with carrot, tomato, peanut, fresh garlic, lime juice, green beans, and Thai fresh chili in Thai style dressing.
