The Salt Pan Creek walking track take you on a sometimes delightful, sometimes disconcerting journey through semi-urban wetlands and mangrove forests - https://www.weekendnotes.com/salt-pan-creek-walking-track/. These forests are hidden in the backyard of Riverwood and its neighbouring suburbs. The walk follows Salt Pan Creek, winding over it and beside it, sometimes giving you glimpses of the railway corridor and the motorway, and at other times surrounding you completely in riverine habitat.
Time to meet: 10.30am on Saturday 15 September - We'll meet at the end of the car park going into Mclaughlin Oval, 48 Wiggs Road Riverwood …
